If you like to eat a “chickie chickie parm parm” as you drive around in your “go-go mobile,” you’re probably a fan of Tom Haverford, the suit-wearing, Jay-Z-quoting character played by Aziz Ansari on NBC’s Parks and Recreation.
“He wants to be Russell Simmons, but he’s too scared to go to a big city,” Ansari says in the new issue of Rolling Stone. “He’s doing stuff he sees rappers doing, and it’s not impressing anyone but himself, but he’s doing it. That’s really sweet and funny to me.”
Check out the rest of our interview with Ansari, plus seven more new faces of comedy, on RollingStone.com.
