Review: 'We Need to Talk About Kevin' (NYTimes)
The book We Need to Talk About Kevin was one that I remember most clearly sucking me in this last year (of course, it came out far earlier, but I only read it this year). Now this film version sounds like it will do just as good a job as the book of conjuring up some really disturbing emotions. The fact that the review calls it a horror, rather than a psychological thriller speaks volumes. Anyway, I remember seeing the trailer a few months ago and not being able to decide if I’d see it or not. I think I will, though. It sounds like they did a good job.
